Calendar of the plenary and of the sub-group meetings held during the Workshop

The goals of the Workshop are to:

review and update the potential of the LHC experiments for studies of Standard Model physics:

tests of the SM,
measurements of SM parameters,
studies of QCD dynamics

propose new ideas and observables to be used as potential probes of new physics
review and update studies of potential SM backgrounds to signals of physics beyond the SM.

In addition to an up-to-date review of theoretical predictions for SM physics, we expect the working groups to single out outstanding issues to be studied during the Workshop itself, and projects to be pursued beyond the end of the Workshop. For example, we expect that specific issues related to Monte-Carlo event generators arising from the working group activities will be studied in full detail in a future ``Monte-Carlo Workshop''.

The structure of the Workshop is similar to previous ones organized on LHC, LEP and LEP2 physics. Several working groups will be formed, and will meet regularly during the period January-October 1999. One intermediate plenary meeting will take place around May, and one final plenary meeting will take place around October.

Each working group will be co-ordinated by theorists and experimentalists. You are encouraged to contact the convenors of the working group to which you would like to contribute using the e-mail addresses provided below.
